T.J. Dillashaw responds to Aljamain Sterling
Aljamain Sterling has already set his target for the next fight. The undisputed bantamweight champion called out T.J.Dillashaw and he already has a response.
Aljamain Sterling was out to prove to the entire world that he is a worthy champion and deserves the belt. And he did it in a spectacular fashion. Sterling defended the bantamweight belt against his nemesis Petr Yan at UFC 273 which was held at the VyStar Veteran Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida. Sterling won the fight via decision.
Sterling was clowned and trashed for claiming to be champion as he won the belt via disqualification. The champ was a massive underdog in his rematch against Petr Yan in the co-main event. Amidst several boos from his very own countrymen, Sterling managed to beat the Russian and also make a spectacular call out to his next opponent.
T.J. Dillashaw, the former champion of the bantamweight division is officially back from his ban and is ready to take what’s his. Sterling called out TJ in the post-fight calling the former champ “Needleshaw” taking shots at his past with steroids.
“Easy money,” says T.J. Dillashaw in response to Aljamain Sterling’s call-out
“Thanks for the call out my little b**ch,” said Dillashaw in his response. “I hope you had fun pretending to be the champ because like I’ve always been saying, Daddy’s home. I’m getting that belt. Easy money.” Watch TJ’s response below:
Dillashaw recently made a return after two years of ban. He fought against top contender Cory Sandhagen and won his return fight via unanimous decision. Dillashaw has been in the sport for a long time and is a former champion. He has a record of 18-4-0 in his professional career and is one of the best to ever do it.
With Sterling and Dillashaw showing interest to fight each other, do you think that is the fight to make next for the champ? Or would you see a trilogy fight between Yan and Sterling?
