One of the most exciting fighters on the ONE Championship roster, Thanh Le believes he is the one to beat UFC champ Alexander Volkanovski.

Thanh Le is the current featherweight champion in ONE. Fighting out of New Orleans, Le is currently undefeated as a featherweight in ONE Championship. The fighter is coming off five successive wins and believes he can take on any featherweight in the world, including UFC’s dominant champion Alexander Volkanovski.

Recently, in a Q&A session with his fans on his Instagram, Thanh was asked to answer a lot of interesting questions. One of his fans wrote, “I think you’d headkick volk back to Australia how do you think you’d fare against him?” To which Le had a very interesting answer and explained why he would a problem for Volkanovski.

“He’s a phenomenal fighter, but honestly I think I match up really well against him. My Dim Mak, my Ji, my range, my feet…it would be tough & dangerous fight, but I think it’s mine to win,” wrote Le in response to the fan question. Le trains with one of the best and is very confident he can beat champs from different promotions and also claims that to be his dream.

Alexander might have a lot of targets outside the UFC but for now, his focus remains on defending his belt against the top featherweight contender, The Korean Zombie. Volkanovski is the reigning featherweight champion of UFC and is on his path to becoming one of the greatest to ever do it in the promotion’s featherweight history.

Alexander is undefeated in the UFC and is looking to continue his streak of putting away opponents presented before him. In his course to being a dominant champion, Volkanovski has beaten some of the best in the division which includes, Max Holloway, Jose Aldo, Brian Ortega, and others. Volkanovski will be making his title defense at UFC 273 on April 9th in the main event.
