Islam Makhachev is all set to take on short notice substitute opponent, Bobby Green at UFC Vegas 49 this Saturday. The event is going to take place inside the UFC APEX facility in Las Vegas, Nevada and fans are very excited about the match-up.

It’s going to be a tough fight for Green as going against an elite wrestler like Makhachev with such a short training camp is very hard. But Green has proved in the last that he has great takedown defense and is someone who will not go down that easily. It will be extremely interesting to see who will come out as the winner in the fight.

Nurmagomedov recently posted a video on his YouTube channel where he shared a busy day in the life of Islam Makhachev. In the video, Islam Makhachev was having a bad time dealing with all those interviews and media interactions. Watching his friend struggling like this, Nurmagomedov surely took this opportunity to share some knowledge as a former UFC champion.

‘The Eagle’ told Makhachev that media interviews are part of the job as a UFC athlete. There is no meaning in complaining as it is the way things work. Nurmagomedov suggested to Makhachev that if he doesn’t like all this he just has to lose fights. If Makhachev starts losing nobody will come to interview him. But if the main objective is to become the champion he will have to endure it. Nurmagomedov revealed nobody is concerned about him being tired or not but as a fighter of the promotion, Makhachev will have to deal with it.

Brother relax, relax, this is your job brother. As the coach says, if you don’t wanna make a lot of interviews, just lose. Nobody gonna come. You have to lose. But if you wanna become a champion, ok. Who cares about you tired, you don’t tired nobody cares. You have to do this.,” said Nurmagomedov.

In his time, Nurmagomedov was a great champion and respected his opponents. During his interviews, the fighter was always respectful towards the media and always answered their questions without being annoyed. Now as a coach, the Dagestani wants to transfer the same knowledge to Makhachev.
