Jan Blachowicz might be one of the most violent men inside the octagon, but the Polish fighter cannot tolerate cruelty towards animals. The “Polish Power” has lashed out on French footballer Kurt Zouma for kicking his pet cat.
Recently, a video surfaced on the internet where Kurt Zouma, the former center back for Chelsea and now West Ham player, kicks his pet cat. The defender was seen kicking his pet cat in his mansion while his brother filmed it. The kick was so bad that it sent the poor animal across the kitchen while the person behind the camera is seen laughing.

Jan Blachowicz, the former UFC light heavyweight champion hurled abuse at the football player for his actions. The fighter wrote on Twitter, “If you are so tough mother****er, @KurtZouma, try to kick me. What a piece of shit. No tolerance for animal cruelty.” The fighter dared Zouma to try and attack him instead of beating up his pet animal.
Zouma has also been reprimanded by his club, West Ham United and they released a statement saying the situation would be dealt with internally. The footballer has also put out a public apology saying he was wrong and the two cats are healthy and live.
What’s next for Jan Blachowicz?

Blachowicz became the light heavyweight champion in the year 2020 after beating Dominick Reyes to capture the vacant light heavyweight belt. The fighter went on to make his first title defense against the middleweight champion Israel Adesanya who moved up a weight class. In his second title defense against Glover Teixeira at UFC 267, Blachowicz lost the fight via first-round submission.
Blachowicz is looking to climb back and work his way to another title shot. He is now booked to take on rising light heavyweight fighter Aleksandar Rakic, who is also very close to getting his title fight. The two fighters will take the center stage at UFC Fight Night 205. Rakic and Blachowicz will fight each other for five rounds or less in the main event on March 26, 2022, at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus.
