The UFC’s inaugural visit to France was a remarkable success. This weekend marks the Octagon’s second visit to Paris, where the heavyweight showdown between Ciryl Gane and Serghei Spivac is scheduled to take place at the Accor Arena on September 2nd.
After his defeat to Jon Jones, Gane is set to fight in Paris in front of his home crowd, where he will face Sergey Spivak in a high-stakes heavyweight matchup. The ranked #7 fighter, Spivak, is currently on a three-fight win streak, and he would like to continue his momentum until he gets his hands on the title.
In the co-main event, Rose Namajunas will be making her much-awaited octagon comeback after a year of hiatus. She would take on Manon Fiorot in a women’s flyweight battle. Other than that, fans will also get to see some lightweight action between Thiago Moisés and Benoît Saint-Denis.
