Greg Hardy (4-3) entered the Octagon in a fight against Maurice Greene (4-2). Hardy was about to make an unwanted record by becoming the first heavyweight to miss weight at UFC but somehow he made the cut and entered the fight. The big boys stepped into the Octagon and unleashed wrath on each other.

Round 1: The round started and Greene landed a hard kick to the body. He tried one more but Hardy catches his kick and dumped him into the ground. Hardy bounces and lands some hammer fists. Greene tried to roll on one leg to get saved from them but Hardy prevented the attempt.

Hardy maintains posture up position and landed some punches from the top. Hardy also landed a sharp elbow. Both of them get up and Greene switches his stance to orthodox. Hardy lands a body kick and Greene returned the favor with a counter knee. Hardy is hitting counter punches more, the bell sounds and it looks like 10-9 for Hardy.

Round 2: The second round started and Herb Dean gives a firm warning to Hardy before the round starts. That if he doesn’t watch his fingers he will have to lose one point. Greene tried to start the round with another leg kick and he looks really tired, this much that even his breathe is highly audible.

Hardy drops Greene with a left hand. Greene tries to survive but Hardy unloaded a series of punches. Greene’s right arm gets trapped behind him and Herb Dean steps in. That’s it Hardy secures a 2nd round victory and his first victory by TKO at UFC. Greene doesn’t seem pleased with the stoppage.
