In the bantamweight clash of UFC Vegas 13, Raoni Barcelos (4-0) entered the Octagon against Khalid Taha (2-1). Barcelos is the hot favorite in this fight with the betting odds in his favor as well while Taha is looking forward to improving his record in the Octagon with this match.

Round 1: As soon as the round started Barcelos strikes a kick right to the chin of Taha. Both of the men are moving nicely at the start. Taha tries to fire a few punches but they all are blocked. Barcelos tries a low kick that sweeps Taha off balance. Barcelos hit some hard big knees as well.

Taha swings back and connected with a counter, Barcelos looks a little stunned with his heavy strike but he recovers quickly. Taha is defending the strikes very solidly. Barcelos attempted a takedown and tries for the choke but Taha defended it really well. All action to the bell and round 1 ends.

Round 2: Barcelos aimed for the legs again as the second round started. Taha tries to throw some wild swing on Barcelos. Taha connects with a nice crisp combination, Barcelos hit an inside leg kick but it catches the cup. The referee stopped the fight for some seconds and Taha is okay to continue.

Barcelos apologize and the fight starts again, Taha is able to strike some successful punches in this round. Barcelos also stinging some punches. Knee up to the middle for Barcelos. A flurry of punches to the bell. Round 2 ends.

Round 3: Taha started the round with some swings but Barcelos is still hitting those legs. Barcelos took Taha to the canvas, and he’s immediately on the back. Barcelos put a squeeze to the chin but Taha survived. Taha connects with a nice leg kick as soon as they get up.

Barcelos is looking for a breather for the moment. He is still linking the punches and Taha is answering them back. Just about 1 minute in the round to end and Barcelos is still hitting those leg strikes. A low kick from him sweeps Taha on the floor and the bell sounds.

Result: Raoni Barcelos def. Khalid Taha via unanimous decision (30-27,30-27,30-27)
