UFC Vegas 14: Rafael Dos Anjos def Paul Felder via split decision

The main event of UFC Vegas 14 is underway featuring the former UFC champion Rafael Dos Anjos and the brave heart contender ‘Irish Dragon’ Paul Felder. Every eye in this fight is on Felder as he stepped into this fight on just five days’ notice.
Round 1: RDA starts the round with his signature southpaw stance and meets Felder in the middle of the Octagon. RDA struck with a nice body kick that moves Felder back. Felder counters him with a one-two combination and a spinning elbow. RDA has a cut on his head from that elbow.
Felder again lands a nice uppercut, RDA hits a nice body kick. Felder throws one of his favorite spinning attacks and RDA takes it and fires back one of his own. RDA closes the round with a big left hook.
Round 2: The round started and RDA fires some nice jabs and a shot to the body of Felder. They clinched and RDA attempted a takedown but he didn’t get it. He lands an elbow and Felder replies to him with one of his own. RDA shoots one more takedown attempt near the fence.
Felder frees himself and they separate again, Felder hits a nice one-two combo. RDA shoots one more takedown and he gets it this time. They spend some time in-ground and get up again. RDA again struck a straight left and the horn sounds.
Round 3: Felder opens the round with a leg kick, but RDA caught it and shoots for a takedown. They are back in the clinch against the fence, RDA strike with some knee to the body. Felder fakes an uppercut to avoid RDA to shoot another takedown. RDA lifts Felder and slams him down with 30 seconds left. They both spend time in-ground and the round ends.

Round 4: Felder starts the round by trying to hit a running knee but misses, he is looking more aggressive in this round. He further lands a nice three punch combo. Felder is trying to stay in the center so that he can avoid the takedowns from RDA. RDA shoots another takedown.
They are in a clinch and Felder throws a sharp elbow, RDA has Felder against the fence now. RDA hits a stiff jab and Felder counters with a 1-2 combo. Felder’s head is a bloody mess as the round ends.
Round 5: Felder started the round with blood rushing from his head. They exchanged some wild shots at the starting of the round and RDA shoots again. He hits a hard elbow and scores a takedown. RDA is on top of Felder and he is having a hard time controlling Felder.
RDA is throwing some knees to the body from side control and the round ends. It’s up to the judges now but RDA seems to clearly win this.
Result: Rafael Dos Anjos. def. Paul Felder via split decision (47-48,50-45,50-45)
