It is not too far away for an epic showdown of Devin Clark vs. Anthony Smith. Upcoming light heaveweight Devin Clark, will look make his mark by entering the Top 15 if he defeats former 205-pound title contender, Anthony Smith, in the re-scheduled main event scheduled for five, five-minute rounds.UFC Vegas 15 fight card was initially going to be a Heavyweight bout between Curtis Blaydes and Derrick Lewis; however, at the eleventh hour, Blaydes tested positive for COVID-19 and the bout has been postponed until further notice.

Catchweight (opening fight) : Nate Maness vs. Luke Sanders

Nathan Maness defeats Luke Sanders in round two via submission: Sanders faced a defeat after last stepping into the Octagon to knockout Renan Barao under Ngannou vs. Velasquez card. Maness fought well by taking him down often and finally ended his fight with a rear-naked choke.

Round 1

Maness first lands with a counter right hand. Maness gets hit himself and resets. Sanders goes for the leg kick. Hard calf kick from Sanders. Sanders gets clipped with a left but misses the overhand right. Sanders throws a heavy combo but Maness gets a takedown and jumps on top of Sanders’ back. He powers back up and uses the fence to turn to get free and get back to the middle. Sanders with a huge combo and Maness is wobbling. Can he finish it? Elbow over the top and only 20 seconds remain. 10-9 Sanders.

Round 2

Sanders appears to still be headhunting with the dangerous lefts. A wild exchange for the in just 45 seconds and Sanders gets receives hard counter. They clinch up and Maness breaks free at 1:40. Sanders lands straight left but eats a counter shot as well. Maness answers with a right of his own to only drop him and then takes him down to get full mount. He gets to the back, he’s got the rear-naked, and Sanders taps out!

Winner: Luke Maness def. Luke Sander via submission (rear naked choke) in round two.

Flyweight: Malcolm Gordon vs. Su Mudaerji

Su Mudaerji def. Malcom Gordon via first round KO: Gordon fights out of Toronto, Ontario, Canada while Mudaerji fights out of Sichuan, China. The matchup ended with Mudaerji securing a first round KO in epic fashion with several left hands working to his favour.

Round 1

Gordon approaches fast looking for an upset against the -360 favourite. Mudaerji repeatedly lands with the left hand and Gordon falls flat after one more right hook to follow up. 44 seconds needed for victory.

Winner: Su Mudaerji def. Malcom Gordon via first round KO

Women Flyweight: Gina Mazany vs. Rachael Ostovich

Gina Mazany def. Rachael Ostovich via TKO: This is the third bout of the night as these two flyweights are about to fight. Mazany comes into this fight as the taller and more experienced fighter at age 32 while Ostovich is only 29 years of age. She had received a powerful body kick and turtled up the second time which made the referee stop the fight.

Round 1

Mazany first gets hit with a body kick from Ostovich which is the first strike of the round. Mazany pushes her into the fence and trips her into a takedown. Several shots land and then she secures a body triangle for a moment. Ostovich eases out and gets back up. Right hook lands from Ostovich. Right body kick from Ostovich. Mazany throws a straight left and a left to the body. Ostovich takes two lefts to the jaw. Mazany shoots in for another takedown. Ostovich breaks free with just one minute to go. Right hand lands from Mazany. Blood appears to be coming out from Ostovich’s nose. Right hands from Ostovich. 10-9 for Mazany.

Round 2

Mazany throws a flurry of punches as she goes to takedown Ostovich. Ostovich gets back up but Mazany puts her right back down. Ostovich fails to get her arm for an armbar. Ostovich escapes one more choke and briefly takes the back before Mazany manages to slip through. High kick from Ostovich is checked. Both of them throw wild shots but Mazany gets a successful takedown. Ostovich holds her in place but then Mazany moves to take the back. Ostovich almost gets up when she gets thrown right back down once again. Ostovich up again and they each wild throw haymakers. 10-9 to Mazany.

Round 3

Mazany lands two left hands and goes back on the fence again. Ostovich circles to her right gets hurt with a few from the combo. She moves to her left and is hurt by the left hook. Mazany goes for a spinning back fist but misses. Ostovich is taken down when against the fence with a double leg takedown. She immediately moves to full mount and is struck my many elbows. Ostovich gives up her back in the process. Ostovich finally gets up at 3:19. Mazany throws left cross to the face. Ostovich is hurt by a body kick, turtles up and is asked if she can continue by warning her. She gets up to receive another body kick and the fight is finally ended.

Winner: Gina Mazany def. Rachael Ostovich via TKO

Bantamweight : Martin Day vs. Anderson dos Santos

Anderson dos Santos def. Martin Day via submission: Fighting out of Sao Paulo, Brazil is dos Santos (20-8) and fighting out of Kailua, Hawaii is Day (8-4). Dos Santos managed to secure a guillotine as Day went for a takedown that failed its purpose as his neck was trapped during the takedown making him tap.

Round 1

The two begin exchanging low leg kicks. May and lands several shots on dos Santos. Dos Santos then shoots but has a missed takedown, then shoots for another. Day eases out of it. Day throws a right elbow backwards while Dos Santos keeps working for the takedown and he eventually is successful. Left hand from the top. Knee to the body. Day gets him back to butterfly guard but dos Santos throws a vicious elbow from the top. Day is struggling but then goes for a takedown of his own but Dos Santos gets a hold of his neck in the process of being picked up and he goes for a guillotine which finally causes Day to quit.

Winner: Anderson dos Santos def. Martin Day via submission
