UFC Vegas 22 (co-main event): Max Griffin knocks out Kenan Song

The co-main event of the UFC Vegas 22 just went down and oh boy was it a huge showdown. Welterweight fighters, Max Griffin and Kenan Song bumped gloves in the co-main event. Max Griffin came into the game with a record of 16-8-0 and the fighter from China, Kenan Song with a career record of 16-5-0.

Griffin wanted to come in to the game and was in a motive to “have fun” and he sure did. Max “Payne” Griffin came into the fight to climb up the ranks and was determined to win the additional 50k after the fight. Griffin also mentioned in the pre-fight conference that he was new dad and wanted to win for his new born.

“Payne” was initially not happy with who he was matched up with as he believed Kenan Song from China was not on his level. Song was coming off a win against Callan Potter last February via knockout and this was huge fight for Kenan. Thing didn’t go unfortunately his way.
