UFC Vegas 24: Luis Pena defeats Alexander Munoz via split decision

The lightweight scrap between Alexander Munoz (6-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) and Luis Pena (8-3 MMA, 4-3 UFC) just went down at UFC Vegas 24, and in a very close fight, Luis Pena got the victory.
Round 1: Luis Pena got to the center of the octagon and popped some jabs, Munoz tries to go for a takedown but could not complete it, he tries one more time and completes it this time, he controlled Pena for some time but Pena got back up. Pena started chopping up the lead leg but Munoz cracked him with some nice punches just as the round ended.
Round 2: Pena started aggressively and landed some punches, he is also damaging the lead leg but Munoz fired back and is landing heavy and got another takedown. As the fight got to the center of the octagon both guys landed shots in the exchange, Pena is pushing the pace but Munoz is finding success with the counter shots

Round 3: Munoz started slowing down and Pena came out more aggressive in this one, Munoz is doing a good job of chopping the lead leg but Pena is all over him, everything he throws is landing from punches to knees to kicks, he brought a fury on Pena but he completed one takedown but Pena got up and finished the round strong.
Result: Luis Pena def. Alex Munoz via split decision (28-29, 29-28, 29-28)
