The women’s flyweight contest of UFC Vegas 24 marks the contest between Tracy Cortez and Justine Kish. Cortez holds a record of (8-1) in MMA and she is still undefeated in MMA. While her opponent Justine Kish holds a record of (7-3) and she managed to win only one of her last four fights.
Round 1: Kish started the round with an early low kick and then she pushed Cortez against the cage. Cortez showed nice takedown defense and turned her down and scored a takedown of her own. Kish tried to turn for the arm but Cortez get in top-mount and landed some heavy shots. She ended the round on her back with some lethal strikes.
Round 2: Cortez started the round with an early low kick and Kish answered her with heavy punches. Cortez tried to rush inside but she eats a huge elbow from Kish. She walks through another strike and now Cortez is in the clinch again. Kish threw a nice combination. A couple of low kicks from Kish as the round ends.

Round 3: Cortez started the round aggressively but Kish answered her well. Kish secured a double leg takedown but Cortez turned her down and came above her. She landed some heavy shots from the back, Kish is able to pull away and restart. Kish landed a kick to the body and Cortez is dropped but she recovered fast. They traded shots as the fight ends.
Result: Tracy Cortez def Justine Kish via split decision (29-28, 28-29, 30-27)
