Round 1: Both the fighters take the center as they looked to start the second fight of the UFC Vegas 30 main card. Tim Means unleashes a nasty high kick right off the bat. Both the fighters start exchanging blows. Means does not look to take it easy as he puts pressure on Dalby. Means throws Nicolas to the floor. Dalby struggled as he looked to use the fence but fails to do so. Short punches from Tim Means. Dalby is damaged now. But now both are in the center and Nicolas looks to shoot but the bell goes.

Round 2: Dalby looked to fire a few punches before he went for the takedown. But Means responded really well with a few body shots. The clinch is there against the fence as both the fighter traded some short punches. Means punched through the guard of Nicolas Dalby. It seemed like the chin of Dalby is cracked. Dalby with a failed takedown. Means punches the liver of Dalby and that had hurt him. A few kicks from Dalby towards Means. Tim had a very calm approach to the fight. The bell goes.
Round 3: Dalby looking to press right away. Means scored with a straight left. Despite Dalby looking very exhausted in the previous rounds, the veteran put a lot of pressure on Tim. Dalby looks for a wrap against the fence but Means managed to get out of it. Means knew he had the first two rounds and so took it easy in the final round. Dalby rocked Means with a mean shot and Tim is shaking. Nothing more done to further the damage. Some big shots in the final seconds. The bell goes.
Result: Tim Means def. Nicolas Dalby via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)
