The prelims card of UFC Vegas 36 is headlined by Molly McCann facing Ji Yeon Kim. Here are the results and round-by-round commentary for all the fights.
UFC Vegas 36 Prelims: Dalcha Lungiambula vs Marc-Andre Barriault
Round 1: Lungiambula and Barriault started the fight by keeping their calm and circling around and pumping the jabs. Barrialut moved forward and a leg kick traded between both. Lungiambula landed a right hand and both men’s swinging some heavy shots. Barriault moved forward and tried to hold Lungiambula against the cage but he escaped.
Lungiambula secures a double leg and Barriault came back to his feet quickly, he landed a clean right hand and tagged Lungiambula to end the round.
Round 2: Both the men traded shots just as the round starts and Lungiambula moved outside, countering the shots of Barriault. They swung again in a close pocket and traded punches and kicks. Lungiambula started increasing his pace and Barriault landed a three-punch combo. Low kick lands for Lungiambula, and they ended the round by trading heavy shots till the final bell.
Round 3: Barriault continued to move forward and land a high number of shots, Lungiambula still swung hard and tried to catch him with a knockout shot. Lungiambula receives a warning for eye poke and Barriault landed a straight punch combination just as the action continued. Lungiambula tried to land a big counterpunch while moving forward but Barriault finished the fight with more punches.

UFC Vegas 36 Prelims: Julain Erosa vs Charles Jourdain
Round 1: Erosa moved forward and threw a high kick, Jourdain moved well and landed a kick of his own. Erosa used his range well to land those strikes and Jourdain moved forward and tried to land that strikes from the angle. Both of them scored some punches and Erosa catches a kick and lands a clean shot to the body.
He tried to move forward and wrap Jourdain against the cage but he defended it well. A clean uppercut lands for Erosa just as the horn sounds.
Round 2: Erosa moved forward and landed some punches, while Jourdain replied to him with some calf kicks. Jourdain picked up the pace and landed a nice combination, Erosa landed a front kick to the groin and a momentary pause took place. Big shots traded between both and Jourdain got some momentum towards the end of the round and they traded until the horn sounds.
Round 3: Erosa tried to land a leaping knee as the fight starts and they immediately got engaged in exchanging again. Jourdain swung some heavy shots and dragged the action to the canvas. Erosa tried to get away and landed some punches on his body. Jourdain gets seated and as soon as he gets up, Erosa locked him in the D’Arce choke and he dropped Jourdain from standing and that’s it here comes the tap.

UFC Vegas 36 Prelims: Jack Shore vs Liudvik Sholinian
Round 1: Shore landed an early low kick to start the fight and Sholinian counters him with a punch on the top. Shore continued to chop the leg and Sholinian scores a quick jab. Sholinian tries to land an outside kick and shore catches it and drops him to the canvas. He postures up and tries to secure an arm triangle but Sholinian gets back on his feet and ended the round.
Round 2: Shore gets caught by an early takedown and Sholinian scrambles up. Shore moved well and landed some punches from the bottom. He finally gets up and landed some clean shots. Sholinian again tries to secure a takedown but Shore defended it well and he kicked the leg once again to end the round.
Round 3: Sholinian had already taken a lot of damage coming into this round and Shore continued attacking him. He tries to clinch but Shore pushed him away and defended it nicely. Shore kept the aggression high and Sholinian tried to engage with him in a close brawl. Uppercut scores for Shore just as the round ends.

UFC Vegas 36 Prelims: Molly McCann vs Ji Yeon Kim
Round 1: McCann fired an overhand right to start the round and Kim fires a kick in reply. McCann moved forward and charged some bombs, Kim lands a counter right hand and McCann dropped on the floor. She worked on her knee and grinded her in the clinch. McCann landed a clean right hand to end the round.
Round 2: McCann controlled the center and she pushed forward to land her shots, Kim stayed on the outside and waited for her so that she can counter. McCann scored with a hard jab and Kim moved to the center as well and they traded in pockets. Late takedown form McCann entered the round.
Round 3: McCann landed some heavy strikes followed by big hooks just as the round started, Kim stayed outside and chopped her legs and landed some kicks on the body. Right hand scored for McCann and Kim tried to keep separation but McCann didn’t let her go.
