The co-main event of UFC Vegas 48 is here with an exciting fight of Kyle Daukuas vs Jamie Pickett.
UFC Vegas 48 takes place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event is headlined by a spectacular light heavyweight fight between Johnny Walker and Jamahal Hill. In the co-main event, two middleweight fighters agree to take on each other in catchweight as both the fighters look to get themselves ranked.
After a controversial fight against Kevin Holland, Kyle Daukaus is back in action. The fighter is 10-2 in his professional career and has only one win in his career as a UFC fighter. He is 1-2 in the promotion and is looking to get back on the win charts. Meanwhile, Pickett is coming off a win against Joseph Holmes and will look to continue his two-fight winning streak. Kyle Daukaus gets the win in first-round at UFC Vegas 48

Round 1 Daukaus starts off the fight with a low kick as he draws the first blood. The fighter with another kick adds some punches into the mix. Just when Jamie Pickett settles in his guard, Kyle looked to change levels with a takedown. Kyle’s attempt at a takedown fails as Pickett defends it by wrapping his hands around Daukaus’s neck.
Daukuas with constant pressure wrapped himself around Pickett. Daukuas lifted Jamie and slammed him onto the floor. However, Jamie finds a way to stand back up to his feet. Kyle Daukuas scores a few right-hands before he goes for another takedown attempt. This time successful. Pickett looking to defend from his back but Daukuas going for the D’arce choke and gets a good squeeze. Final seconds of the round and oh wow Jamie Pickett taps.
