Alex Pereira gets the better of his opponent at UFC Vegas 50
Round 1 Both the fighters touch gloves and Alex drew first blood with a high kick. A lot of kicks to begin with for the former kickboxer as Silva is put in the backfoot. The famous knee of Pereira makes an appearance but does little to no damage. A huge exchange from both the fighters and Silva gets the takedown. Alex makes his way up and round ends as the Brazilian lands a couple of hard punches.
Round 2 Both the fighters begin with trading punches again. A successful takedown for Bruno but fails to control his opponent on the ground. Both the fighters are in a clinch as Pereira sets free after landing a couple of punches. Silva steps on the front foot with some great punches.
Round 3 The last round begins and a very close fight at our hands so far. Both the fighter back to exchanging punches. Pereira turns up the game and rocks Silva with a beautiful left hook and Alex takes on Silva. Silva is shaking but manages to land a couple of strikes but Alex remains the winner of the exchange.
