Belal Muhammad gets a win at UFC Vegas 51
UFC Vegas 51 hosts a very crucial matchup of Vicente Luque vs Belal Muhammad in the main event.
UFC Vegas 51 takes place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. The fight night is headlined by a crucial welterweight fight between Vicente Luque vs Belal Muhammad. This bout could turn out to be a very pivotal fight in the run for title contention. Both the welterweights have previously met each other in 2016 when Luque knocked out Belal in the first round.
Vicente is coming off a win against Michael Chiesa at UFC 265 as he stunningly submitted the veteran in the first round. Luque is on a four-fight winning streak and winning could definitely make him one of the biggest title contenders. Meanwhile, Belal is coming off a win against former title contender Stephen Thompson. Muhammad is on a six-fight winning streak and is looking to seal his spot as the next title contender.

Vicente Luque gets dominated by Belal Muhammad
Round 1 Both the fighters touch gloves and take the center. Luque applies pressure right away. Belal looks for a wrestling attack immediately but holds back. A great right jab from Belal. High kick from Luque as he continues to find his range. A huge body kick from Muhammad. Belal gets the takedown against Luque. Vicente is back up with only seconds remaining.
Round 2 Luque not quite finding his range as Belal looks to be on his toes all the time. Great one-two from Muhammad. A nice low kick from Luque. Belal lands a few punches and then goes back to guard. A huge takedown for Belal.
Round 3 Vicente stuns Belal with a short left hook and Muhammad backtracks trying to find his pace. Luque not easing on the pressure and lands a couple more strikes. Belal manages a takedown which is huge for the round and Luque hits back with more strikes. Great round for the Brazilian.
Round 4 Belal looking to come back from the last round and shows amazing movement on the feet. Great cardio from Belal to keep Luque’s dangerous strikes at bay. Another great round for Muhammad as Vicente is forced to look for a finish in the final round.
Round 5 Belal with a takedown attempt which is stuffed in the end. Luque looks to find the range and Muhammad counters with a right hand. Belal goes for the takedown and Luque with a submission attempt. Another takedown from Muhammad. Belal looking for submission as Luque stands up on the feet. What a performance from Belal!
