Pat Sabatini gets a win at UFC Vegas 51
UFC Vegas 51 hosts an amazing featherweight battle between Pat Sabatini vs TJ Laramie on the main card.
UFC Vegas 51 takes place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. The fight night is headlined by a crucial welterweight fight between Vicente Luque vs Belal Muhammad. In the second fight of the main card, Pat Sabatini is challenged by newcomer TJ Laramie to cement their name as an interesting UFC fighter.
TJ Laramie has a record of 12-4-0 in his professional career. He was scheduled to fight against Damon Jackson in May 2021 but the fight couldn’t take place. He will be going into this fight against Sabatini as the underdog given Pat has more experience. Pat has a record of 16-3-0 in his professional career and is coming off a win against Tucker Lutz back in November of 2021. He is on a three-fight winning streak and will look to keep his momentum going.

Pat Sabatini displays huge ground and pound at UFC Vegas 51
Round 1: Both the fighters touch gloves and look to trade immediately with leg kicks. Sabatini is hit with a takedown attempt and is tested immediately. Laramie gets the takedown and looks to work on the top. Both the fighters back to their feet. Another clinch as Laramie pushes his opponent towards the cage. A guillotine attempt from Sabatini to end the round.
Round 2 Sabatini looks to press but Laramie goes for the guillotine. Pat escapes the attempt with no ease and transitions into a clinch. Sabatini gets a trip and put Laramie on the mat, taking the top position. Huge punches were thrown from Pat against TJ. A little hesitation to take on the rear-naked choke but continues with his flurry of punches. Huge round for Sabatini.
Round 3 Sabatini gets Laramie on the floor and gets a lot of control. Pat is back on his feet but still doesn’t let go of the clinch. Another trip and Laramie back to the ground as Pat takes the back. Laramie gets dominated on the ground but gets to throw some punches in the last few seconds. Great fight for Pat.
Results: Pat Sabatini def. TJ Laramie via unanimous decision
