UFC Vegas 53 hosts a very interesting featherweight battle between Andre Fili and Joanderson Brito on the main card.
UFC Vegas 53 takes place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. The fight night is headlined by the very crucial bantamweight fight between Rob Font and Marlon Vera. In the fourth fight of the main card, two exciting featherweights take on each other to get back in the win column.
Andre is a veteran of the sport with over 20 wins on his resume in professional mixed martial arts. Fili has been in the UFC for nearly a decade and is currently coming off a ‘No Contest’ fight against Daniel Pineda in 2021 and a loss against Bryce Mitchell in 2020. Brito on the other hand has a record of 12-3-1 in his professional mixed martial arts career. It will take a lot of effort for Pineda to get the better of someone like Andre Fili at UFC on ESPN 35.

Round 1 Both the featherweights take the center as the bell goes. Touch of gloves for both the fighters. Leg kicks from Andre and Joanderson. Joanderson looking to find his range as he looks to stick the jab in Andre’s face. Brito finds the 1-2 jab and connects again with a huge right hand. Brito’s right hand puts Fili on the ground and Joanderson wastes no time throwing a barrage of punches at his opponent before the referee stops the fight.

An amazing knockout to give Brito his first win in UFC. His first fight came off as a loss against Bill Algeo. This is the first time Brito has had the privilege of walking out with his entire team in the promotion. Brito is now 13-3 in his career with this amazing knockout.
