Chris Curtis wins at UFC Vegas 57
UFC is back with another fantastic fight card. UFC Vegas 57 opens its main card with a middleweight matchup between Chris Curtis and Rodolfo Vieira. Read to know how this matchup played out.
There is no better fighter to kick off the main card than Chris Curtis who has been on a fantastic winning streak. Curtis is coming off a three-fight winning streak and all three of them have come via knockout. Curtis is coming off a wins against the likes of Brendan Allen, Phil Hawes, and Sean Lally in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. The “Action-Man” is looking to do what he always does best in the octagon once again and add another finish to his resume.

Chris Curtis gets better of Rodolfo Vieira in standup exchanges
Round 1 Both the fighters touch gloves and get into action. Rodolfo starts off the fight with a low kick as Curtis looks to find his range. Vieira goes for the strike and Curtis counters with an amazing right. Chris drags the fight to the canvas but Vieira manages to get back up and hold the clinch. A low blow from Rodolfo and the fight comes to stop. Fight resumes and a takedown attempt from Rodolfo and Curtis is against the cage. Another low blow toward Curtis and a point deduction will be in talk for the Brazilian. Nice jab from Vieira responded with a body shot from Curtis.
Round 2 Leg kicks from the Brazilian fighter as he tries to keep Curtis’ striking at bay. Vieira gets Curtis against the fence as he looks for another takedown attempt. Curtis looking to attack the body of Rodolfo. Both the fighters exchange jabs as Curtis looks to find the big blow. Another huge shot to the body from Curtis. An amazing left from Curtis and Rodolfo getting damaged on standup.
Round 3 The final round is here and Curtis is working the jabs. Action-Man finds his rhythm as he continues to attack the body of Rodolfo. Curtis once again escapes a takedown attempt from the Brazilian. Curtis getting the better of Vieira in standup exchanges and also shows a hundred percent takedown defense so far. Amazing left cross from Curtis and the fight ends.
