The middleweight champion has recently announced that his NFT is now up for grabs and can be bought by fans. “In my @ufcstrikenft collection forever!! UFC 243 from walkouts to knockouts. I created this moment, now you can cop a piece of UFC history? Israel Adesanya taunted Robert Whittaker by flexing his NFT
In 2019, Adesanya became the undisputed middleweight champion when he beat the former champion, Robert Whittaker, in a title unifier bout at UFC 243. Izzy knocked out Whittaker cold in the second round, which makes this NFT very special. The NFT shows a clip of Adesanya scorching Whittaker in his first meeting.
The two champs met each other three years later for their much-anticipated rematch at UFC 271. Like any other press conference that features Izzy, this one too had some amazing mental warfare. Adesanya represented his UFCSTRIKE NFT for the first time in the press conference of this match and made sure he wore it as a chain around his neck to taunt his opponent.
“It shows the moment over and over and over again. But this weekend I am looking to create another moment so yeah this is fun,” said Adesanya in the press conference.
