Brandon Moreno-Ryan Garcia
What happens when two of the best Latin Americans, specifically Mexican fighters of different combat sports in the world are brought in a gym to train together, a lot of hard work and warning to their upcoming opponents. Former UFC Flyweight Champion Brandon Moreno is definitely in the prime of his career, but with a rival like current champion Deiveson Figueiredo, Moreno needs to update and refine his skills to a new level day in and out.
Mexican-American boxing prodigy Ryan Garcia is no less of a threat even though he is returning to the Octagon after more than a year. Garcia, who’s only 23 years old, has already fought in 200+ amateur bouts before turning pro and staying undefeated for 21 fights, with 18 wins coming via knockout. The former WBC-interim lightweight champion Garcia last fought in January 2021 when he retired Olympic champion, Luke Campbell, via body shot knockout.
Brandon Moreno and Ryan Garcia and bringing the best out of each other ahead of their future in combat sports
In a recent video by EsNews Boxing that is surfacing the internet of boxing and the MMA community, Moreno and Garcia got together to spread some Latin energy of hard work, discipline and dedication in a gym where they both grind each other out to level up their boxing skills.
In the video clip below, Moreno and Garcia practice on a punching bag, drill on reflex exercises over each other, practice precision and rhythm on speed bags, and engage in a lot of other activities for which their future opponents might be in for some trouble.
What do you make of this 5-minute long video of Garcia and Moreno undergoing different activities associated with boxing together? Moreno is most likely going to have a fourth against current UFC flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo after Moreno lost the trilogy and the rivalry stands at a win, a loss and a draw from both sides. Garcia has been fighting both physical and mental challenges and is finally prepared to fight in April 2022 against Emmanuel Tagoe.
