Conor McGregor is once again showing the fight world how motivated he is to return to the octagon. The Irish superstar is seen throwing heavy kicks at the boxing bag since his injury at UFC 264.
Conor McGregor is not backing down one bit. The Irish superstar is turning out to be a great example for many fighters around the world. 11 months ago McGregor stepped into the octagon against his fierce rival Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. This fight was one of the most anticipated trilogy fights of all time. However, Conor broke his foot during the fight which awarded Poirier a victory in the first round via technical knockout.
There have been a couple of other fighters who faced a similar injury as McGregor in the past, Anderson Silva and Chris Weidman. However, no one has shown determination and development in their recovery like the Irishman. Conor has been consistently updating his recovery status to the fans via interviews and social media since his injury. After a successful surgery, Conor has slowly worked his way back to again throwing kicks. It is only a matter of time before we see “The Notorious One” back in the octagon doing what he does best.

In the video uploaded by the MacLife channel on YouTube, McGregor can be seen throwing some heavy kicks at the bag. The fighter seemed fearless despite it being only 11 months since his terrifying injury in the ankle. McGregor began his first training session since the injury 7 months ago. The fighter has been working nonstop to get back into the octagon.
Even the UFC president Dana White has revealed that McGregor was initially looking to be back in the octagon this fall of 2022 but it seems like it will take longer than that before we see the Irishman back in that octagon. After 11 months of recovery, it seems like McGregor might actually be back. Watch the video of Conor throwing kicks below:
Conor now has a handful of opponents at his table. It will be the fighter’s decision to pick who he wants to fight on his return. Some of the favorites to be McGregor’s next opponent are Michael Chandler and Nate Diaz. The two stand out as the main options. Any fight that Conor is involved in can be guaranteed a blockbuster.
