Derek Brunson trolls Paulo Costa on Twitter

After his recent loss against Jared Cannonier at UFC 271, former title contender Paulo Costa called out Brunson for his next fight. Brunson who is currently 5-1 in his last 6 fights fumbled a chance to be the next title contender. After being denied a fight against Sean Strickland, Costa shifted his focus towards Brunson.
“focus on your own weight class . You’re a heavyweight . I tried to fight you multiple times . Your disappeared until I got a fight . I’m not fighting soon, I’m working on my craft . I’m waiting on your 2nd heavyweight fight . Paulo Pasta,” wrote Brunson who didn’t seem interested in fighting Costa.
Brunson also followed his response with a meme on Costa’s recent issue with weight cut when he missed weight by a huge margin for a middleweight fight. Brunson, despite being a veteran in the sport has failed to go the distance and grab himself a shot at the title. What do you think Brunson’s next move should be?
