WATCH! Israel Adesanya reacts to Kai Kara-France’s stunning win against Askar Askarov
Kai Kara France- Israel Adesanya
There couldn’t have been a much happier MMA figure about Kai Kara France’s victory than UFC Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya. Kara France did the nearly unthinkable when he defeated the undefeated Askar Askarov at UFC Columbus via unanimous decision. Adesanya and Kara France have been training together at City Kickboxing Gym in New Zealand for a very long time.
Kara France is now expecting to wait for the winner of the fourth fight between former UFC flyweight champion Brandon Moreno and current champion Deiveson Figueiredo for the Kiwi, Kara France to have his first title shot. Kara France’s teammate Adesanya on the other hand is just coming off a fourth successful title defence, a rematch against preceding middleweight champion in Robert Whittaker.

Adesanya puts on a video on his Youtube Channel starring his reaction to probably the biggest victory in Kara France’s career over Askarov, right after when Kara France won his second last fight over former UFC bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt via knockout in the first round. Watch the video below as Adesanya tries to dissect each and every move by Kara France to the victory.
On looking at Adesanya’s reactions, you will realise that Kara France has already practiced escpaing back control a lot, the one in which Askar Askarov put the Kiwi in time and again to submit him in a rear naked choke, but couldn’t do so. Adesanya usually records his reaction to the entire fight card, but this time, he decided to keep it short for his teammate and make it a little exclusive.
What do you make of Adesanya’s support and cheer for Kara France? Do you think Kara France deserved the title shot next? Do you see the Kiwi becoming the world champion anytime soon in the near future? Also, who do you think should be next in line for Adesanya’s fifth title defence?
