Petr Yan busts a cool move ahead of his title unification fight against Aljamain Sterling. The Russian looks to set a trend among his followers with his new Instagram post.
The interim bantamweight champion Petr Yan finally gets a chance to fight against his nemesis, Aljamain Sterling at UFC 273. After several cancellations, Yan will get a chance to win back the bantamweight belt that he lost at UFC 259. And the Russian fighter is more confident than ever that he can beat Sterling in the much-anticipated rematch.
Amidst his hectic training camp, Yan is looking to get his fans hyped up as he busts a cool move that could easily qualify as a dance skill. The fighter posted the video with the caption, “Friends Comrades – I launch this topic under the hashtag #Doitbeautifully #Nomercy (Repeat)” The posts received over 70k impressions in just 10 hours. The UFC 273 card is absolutely stacked. In the main event, Alexander Volkanovski defends his featherweight title against The Korean Zombie and in the co-main event, the much-anticipated bantamweight rematch between Petr Yan and Aljamain Sterling is featured. Yan lost his belt in the worst way possible as he was disqualified following an illegal knee to Sterling’s face.
Since then, the two have been trying to get back into the octagon and settle their dispute. On account of Sterling’s injuries, Yan has had to wait over a year to take back what’s his. Both the fighters have not eased up on the trash-talking. As soon as the official poster was announced for the PPV event, Yan had to take a dig at his opponent and photoshop a clown hat and a pig’s nose on Sterling.
