Paddy Pimblett at UFC London

Paddy Pimblett has built a reputation for being in exciting fights in his short time with the UFC. He continued his entertaining ways off the octagon with a hilarious clip being uploaded to Instagram.

Paddy fought Rodrigo Vargas at UFC London for his second fight with the UFC and “blew the roof off the gaff.” Paddy went into the bout looking for a first round finish but was surprised by Vargas who rushed and connected with clean shots which stunned Paddy.

Paddy was forced to scramble where he was controlled by Vargas, some ground and pound later they were both on their feet again. A hip throw by Paddy and he is able to turn the momentum of the fight. Paddy was able to get Vargas back as he tried to get up, from where Paddy sunk in his hooks and secured the rear naked choke victory.

After showing yet again that the Scousers don’t get knocked out, it’s hilarious to watch The Baddy try some tongue twisters with his Scouse accent. Paddy had a decent go at ‘Sally sells the seashells by the seashore‘ but his ‘Peter piper picked a peck of pickled peppers’ was shaky. These absolutely pale in comparison to Paddy’s attempt at ‘Betty bought a bit of butter, but the butters bitter‘ which he absolutely butchered. The video was uploaded by the UFC’s Instagram page as a part of promotion ahead of the Vargas fight.

Former but revered MMA referee, John McCarthy and Former UFC Lightweight Champion, Josh Thompson discuss the Bright future that lie ahead of Paddy Pimblett, in a recently released Weighing In Podcast.

The two believe that the former Cage Warriors featherweight Champion is on UFC’s fast track to success. Initially having turned down several offers to fight in the UFC before, the UFC’s new and upcomimg fighter is mostly likely going to be groomed to be the next Connor McGregor. They have deduced that the Baddy is going to be booked against a string of strikers to increase his cred, as he holds an advantage against such fighters and trait similar to the Notorious.
