Khamzat Chimaev - Darren Till invite Conor McGregor
Khamzat Chimaev and Darren Till have been in training camp together for quite some time now, making noise and doing goofy stuff together whilst helping each other get better. Conor McGregor on the other hand has been training pads with his ‘Yes men‘ as Cejudo commented, and is expecting a return sometime soon this year.
Conor recently made a statement revealing that he was eyeballing the welterweight belt, added that he didn’t see any ‘danger’ with Usman. He was invited by Khamzat and Darren despite the fact that Khamzat himself was fighting at welterweight. This could be a great way for Conor to actually have a chance at the title if he did so. He added that he didn’t have anything to prove at 155lbs and feels/is big now.
“If you want to come back we will help you, we are waiting for you in our camp.” Chimaev wrote, who is going to be facing Burns at the next PPV event. If McGregor is serious about a Welterweight title run, he’s going to need all the help he can get to stay alive. Khamzat welcomes him with open arms.

Khamzat Chimaev expresses how he isn’t really fond of McGregor because of the commotion that happened between Khabib ‘The Eagle’ Nurmagomedov and Conor and how he [McGregor] handled it. Khamzat was supposedly furious after the Irishman talked about all the Russian fighters while trash-talking Khabib.
“Honestly speaking, I wanted to beat him up. Many people thought I was coming there to help him to prepare for Khabib… not for Khabib. I was coming there to protect our pride and honor. I was going there for all of us. If that would not have happened, I would have maybe thrown, I don’t know, some object.”
Khamzat was then stopped before he could do anything violent and was deported by the authorities. This could go a few ways from here now, either Conor refuses and Khamzat comes for Conor again or Conor could very well learn from the duo and give stiff competition for Usman. Either way, The welterweight belt is where the action is at now.
