“We don’t believe in pulling out”- Henry Cejudo digs at Max Holloway as he demands a fight against Alexander Volkanovski

Henry Cejudo digs at Max Holloway
Henry Cejudo is eyeing a return to the octagon from his retirement. Finally, something has excited the “Triple C” to come out of his retirement and fight. Max Holloway pulling out of the fight against Alexander Volkanovski has turned out to be a late-Christmas present for the former two-division champion.
Alexander Volkanovski and Max Holloway were initially booked for an exciting trilogy title fight at UFC 272. However, moments after the booking was confirmed, the former champion from Hawaii revealed that he is forced to pull out of the fight due to an injury. This news might have been a big bummer for the current champion.
A handful of other fighters would however disagree that this was bad news. From Chang Sung Jung to Giga Chikadze, ranked fighters in the featherweight division are ready to fill in as a replacement for Max to challenge “The Great”. In that list of fighters waits for the retired legend, Henry Cejudo. “Triple C” has revealed that he is open to fighting for the featherweight title and becoming the first-ever three-division champion in the history of UFC.
“Give me a shot at Alex,” Henry Cejudo says in his call-out

“Hey @danawhite give me a shot at Alex. I would never cancel. I’m Mexican and we don’t believe in pulling out of anything,” wrote Cejudo on Twitter. Cejudo has not fought in the UFC since 2020. The fighter is a former flyweight and bantamweight champion and is also a proud Olympic gold medalist.
Cejudo’s last fight was at UFC 249 when he defended his bantamweight belt against the stunning Dominick Cruz. “Triple C” then decided to retire from the sport as he achieved everything. However, the idea of being the first-ever three-division champion excites Henry. Neither the UFC boss nor the featherweight champion has given their “OK” to this super-fight.
If this fight does happen, do you think Henry Cejudo can create history?
