First time having my mom to any fight. She calls me right before I start a 9.5 lb weight cut, on Thursday night to see if I could bring her out. HANgrily I didnt didn’t want to be bothered by anyone but I somehow managed to get her out to the biggest moment of my career. WE WON [heart emoji] Sterling wrote in the caption.

What do you make of this little story time from Sterling arranging for his mother’s presence for his fight and making her proud? Who do you think should Sterling fight next? Sterling has called out former 2-time UFC bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw for his next title defence while Yan has called for a trilogy fight against Sterling. Either way, both Dillashaw and Yan are fighters with similar styles of fighting, that of dominating on feet with a flurry of versatile combinations.
