Even though Ohio didn’t get the favoured results, UFC welterweights Matt Brown and Bryan Barberena got cemented together in UFC history forever for their all-time classic showdown at UFC on ESPN 33 main card. Both were swinging wild punches but Barberena had the edge with counter punching whereas Brown tried to score his way to the distance by getting huge takedowns.
In the end, Barberena, who’s now 17-8 in his overall MMA career, took the razor-close split decision in victory. It’s rather surprising to see how Brown stands true to his nickname i.e. The Immortal for he is a 41-year old man who still manages to put one memorable performance for the combat sports fans all around the world. Barberena has now successfully won 3 of his last 4 fights.
