Joe Rogan and his journey in MMA had a humble beginning. He did not want to take up the commentary role when offered. Rogan only decided to take up the commentary job so that his friends could get tickets for free, and after 15 free gigs, Rogan chose to get paid for the commentary gig. However, what most fight fans forget about how Rogan acted on his commentary debut.

After hosting Fear Factor, the other commentator, asked him how he felt. Joe Rogan said, “Phenomenal fight. I can’t believe it’s real, and I can’t believe it’s going to happen. Kwaaaaa. This is what I do every one. Kwaaaa.” Rogan talked about the vibe as a commentator and a host of Fear Factor.

Rogan had a different task in Fear Factor, where he had to excite and go crazy during the crazy stunts and dares involved in the game. However, in the UFC, Rogan has to keep it professional and attempt a play-by-play narration of what transpires inside the Octagon. Little did the fight fans know that it was the inception of a legend who would become the most famous non-fighter MMA personality on the planet.

To focus on the work involving the podcast, Rogan rarely leaves the United States for UFC PPV. He was noticeably absent for UFC 284 and UFC 286, which happened outside the US.

He said, “You’re not cancelling Rogan. And the thing is with Rogan,he’s a brilliant guy, does his homework, and he knows what he’s talking about. And guess what? This is f*** America. You can have your own opinion about these things, and you can voice them; that’s what this f***ing country was built on. And all these little whiny f***ing p***ies that don’t like it, too f***ing bad. Too bad, who cares?

Dana White is all about loyalty and has credited Rogan on the success of the UFC. He likes having Rogan around for the PPVs and gets a massive boost due to his popularity on having the largest podcast in the world.
