Conor McGregor recently attended the boxing clash between Ryan Garcia and Gervonta Davis. He interacted with celebrities like Floyd Mayweather Sr and Superbowl Champion Ryan Clark at the event. However, what most fans forget about his wholesome interaction with singer and actress Rita Ora, scared McGregor fans.

Conor McGregor met Rita Ora in December 2017. It was his first public appearance after his blockbuster clash with Floyd Mayweather. Ora and McGregor took pictures, and she posted them on Twitter. She wrote, “Date Night @ TheNotoriousMMA.” The post did not sit well with McGregor fans, who accused Ora of possibly trying to court a committed man. McGregor, at that time, was in a long-term relationship with his childhood sweetheart.

Artem Lobov, a teammate of McGregor, blasted Rita Ora on Twitter. He implied the insensitive nature of Ora’s tweet. It was also the first time when fans accused McGregor of trying to cheat on his girlfriend, Dee Devlin. McGregor was the world’s most famous combat sports fighter at that time. He became a double champion in the UFC with convincing victories over Jose Aldo and Eddie Alvarez. In a spectacular boxing contest, he went on box Floyd Mayweather for a $100 million payday.

In recent years, McGregor found himself in various scandals and even had to prove a paternity test to get out of a potential lawsuit. The Irish Superstar met Artem Lobov early in his career. The Russian-born fighter moved to Ireland to train with McGregor and SBG Ireland team. During the media tour for the Aldo vs McGregor fight, Lobov was the only one to travel alongside McGregor.

McGregor’s girlfriend, Dee Devlin, did not join the tour. Only Lobov had the privilege of accompanying the Irishman for the biggest fight of his career. The close friendship between Lobov and McGregor helped Lobov across his career. When Rita Ora and McGregor took pictures, Lobov supported Dee Devlin and blasted Ora on Twitter.

Lobov found it insulting that Ora flirted with McGregor despite knowing that the Irish Superstar was not single. The MMA community at the time had a similar reaction to Lobov. However, as time passed, McGregor and Lobov were no longer friends. Lobov cited that McGregor did not pay for his services, and two will embark on a legal battle.
