Dana White and Joe Rogan have been working together in the UFC for more than two decades now. Both have great friendships and respect each other a lot and are always there to help.
White showed this back when Rogan was getting publicly canceled for raising his opinions on coronavirus and its treatment. The UFC president didn’t shy away from backing Rogan for his opinions. White mentioned that Rogan is a professional and knows what he does and says.
He said: “He’s a brilliant guy. He does his homework and he knows what he’s talking about. This is f****** America and you can have your own opinions about these things and you can voice them. That’s what this f***** country was built on. And all these little whiney f***** pussies that don’t like it.”
According to White, in a country like America, anybody can have and share their opinions and so can Rogan. White mentioned that American people have the freedom to do what they believe and that’s what makes the country what it is.
Dana White calls cancel culture as the weak and wimpy people trying to drag the people at the top
White has been a businessman for years now and has faced several controversies in which he was questioned by the media. However, he has always remained rigid with his ideas.
While promoting the Power Slap League, White faced an incredible amount of criticism for the brutality and danger involved. The media called out White for promoting such a violent form of sport but White efficiently handled the criticism.
“You have the weakest, wimpiest people on earth trying to talk about some of the toughest, baddest sports on earth and there lies the problem…It’s the combination of all these people, like the snooty, wimpy, f**** creepy. It’s like this whole cancel culture thing,” said White in an interview.
Despite being criticized and canceled many times, Dana White always finds a way to bounce back and continue his job promoting UFC. White does gets a lot of support for his fan base who have seen month after month putting on great MMA events.
