“Will you fight me or stay hiding”- Paulo Costa doubles down on Sean Strickland clash

Looks like UFC Middleweight Paulo Costa won’t stop calling fellow middleweight Sean Strickland till the wheels go off, or at least till a fight between the two is made. Costa and Strickland have recently gone a bit of a back and forth on Twitter after Costa recently dug out some old news of a callout made by Strickland to fight Costa back in November 2021.
Both the fighters have gone different paths since then, while Costa lost another fight to Marvin Vettori after losing his first title fight against Israel Adesanya, Strickland is now on an impressive 6-fight winning streak at the middleweight with his last 3 wins being against very tough middleweight contenders like Krzysztof Jotko, Uriah Hall and Jack Hermansson. It’s not even sure if Costa would be allowed to fight at middleweight anymore since he last fought missing his originally scheduled middleweight by a weight class and hence lost to Vettori in a light-heavyweight bout.

Starting from Costa, he called out Strickland by putting out screenshots of news of Strickland’s callout of Costa back in 2021, to which Strickland said “I asked for Costa and the UFC didn’t seem so confident in his future.. Also i dont think they liked me punching down to get a title shot lol.. but worst case for you Costa there is always bellator.. Maybe 205? Idk…“
To this, Costa replied instantly saying, “I knew you were a fuc*king pus*y but this show of insecurity surprised even me. just another fake macho” Now a day after this Twitter interaction, Costa has asked Strickland for a fight again “Sean Strickland have you cleaned up or do you still have your pants shit on? Will you fight me or stand hiding , it’s ok just let me know“
What do you make of this brief Twitter back and forth between Strickland and Costa? Who do you think wins if the fight between the two ever happens? Do you think Costa will ever gain the UFC’s trust to be allowed to fight at middleweight? Or should he abide by the promotion and try his hands at light-heavyweight?
