Dillon Danis believes he can defeat Khamzat Chimaev very easily in grappling. Dillon Danis is known for getting himself involved in verbal exchanges, internet disputes, etc with other fighters.

Danis got his fame after he helped Conor McGregor in his Brazilian jiu-jitsu training. Danis never got a chance to compete in the UFC and has a professional record of 18-16. Currently, he fights for Bellator but hasn’t stepped foot inside the octagon since 2019.

It’s not the first time Danis is calling out random fighters from other promotions to fight. But, as it turns out the fighter never makes an actual effort of fighting with anybody.

Dillon Danis has now shown his interest in fighting the undefeated welterweight prospect, Khamzat Chimaev. Danis recently posted a tweet on his official Twitter account in which he shared an edited picture of Chimaev.

In the picture, Chimaev’s beard had been cropped out and his face looked funny. In the caption, the Bellator fighter has yet again made some ridiculous claims that he would beat ‘The Borz’ very easily. Danis called out Chimaev for being the ‘Biggest tool ever’ and suggested that there is no way he can beat Danis.

According to the 28-year-old, if the fight goes into the ground, Chimaev will not be able to survive against him. “I wanna fight @KChimaev so bad the guy is the biggest tool ever even if he took me down he wouldn’t last a round in my guard,” wrote Danis.

Chimaev is currently one of the biggest names in the UFC. The Russian made his UFC debut against John Phillips at UFC on ESPN 13 in 2020. Since then, he took the whole UFC by storm achieving overnight popularity.

The rise of the fighter is often compared to Conor McGregor and even more. The fighter has finished every single opponent he faced in his UFC career and is always eager to fight. Chimaev is all set to take on Gilbert Burns this April and a win can take him to the top 5, a little closer to the welterweight title shot.
