With only a day left for this spectacular event, Adesanya revisits the time when he was at the Toyota Center in Houston as a fan to watch UFC 192: Cormier vs Gustafsson. The fight happened 7 years ago when Adesanya was not even signed to the UFC but only had dreams of making it big in the MMA promotion. The fighter reveals that he sneaked onto the stage to pose on the weight scale after the ceremonial weigh-ins were done 7 years ago.

“When you know…you know!” wrote Adesanya on his Twitter post. “#UFC192 in this same arena, I snuck onto the scales after weigh-ins to practice posing for my moment in the UFC. Security yelled at me. 7 years later I’m headlining this b*tch just like I’ve always seen in my vision. So yea…#itwaswritten #player1”

The ceremonial weigh-ins went down earlier today for the rematch of Adesanya and Whittaker. The fighter walked out to the Houston crowd chanting and cheering for him as he struck a magnificent pose on the scale. Adesanya being the showman he is, also said to Jon Anik, the presenter, “He won’t win because I won’t lose” as he walked off the stage.

Adesanya is looking to etch his names among the greatest middleweights to ever do it in the UFC as he defends his title for the fourth time. The last time he and Robert shared the octagon, Izzy managed to finish off Whittaker in the second round making “The Last Stylebender” the undisputed middleweight king.
