UFC’s Aces Jon Jones and Conor McGregor shaping Claressa Shields to be the next big MMA superstar

Claressa Shields is one of the legends of the boxing world and recently Shields announced that she is going to start his professional MMA carrier next year with Professional Fighters League (PFL) and what can be better than her to start learning from the aces of MMA like Jon Jones, Holly Holm and seek advice from ‘The Notorious’ Conor McGregor himself.

The former UFC Light heavyweight champion Jon Jones shared a video on Instagram of himself training with Claressa Shields and giving her some advice. With this post, Jones wrote the caption, “becoming even more dangerous”. In another post Jones says, “reminded me what it was like to be 25 again, this woman could train all day. Excited about her future.”

The former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Holly Holm also trained with Claressa Shields. Jackson Wink shared the Instagram post with the caption, “How Iconic is this… 2 of the Greatest’s and the most accomplished Female Boxers of all time… and in the same footsteps… and under one roof at Jackson Wink MMA Academy”

Conor McGregor gave advice to Claressa Shields

The former two-division UFC champion ‘The Notorious’ Conor McGregor also gave advice to Shields; McGregor commented “Teach her balancing on the single-leg first! Warm-up / warm-down for EVERY session – Pick the single leg and move her around. Elevate the leg high. Push her back with it. Lower it forward etc etc. Get her real cozy hopping on that single leg!”

“Improve her hamstring flexibility as well as balancing ability. Crucial going forward! Have her play with her punching while bouncing on the single also. Finding the target of the temple of the person moving her leg around! Think coziness! Good luck Clarissa! Excited to see your progress!”

Claressa Shields also feel obliged with this and wrote to Conor “I’m humbled and honored Conor McGregor it’s been so much love and support from the MMA community. Truly is amazing to be experiencing some of these things this far!”
