Pat McAfee had an early weekend as he landed completely wasted on his live show from Dublin on a Friday. Beers were hardly enough for the host; somewhere along the lines, he mentioned taking edibles on his flight to Ireland. Fans couldn’t help but point out that this marked one of McAfee’s most entertaining shows.
Pat McAfee‘s hosted a show for the start of the college football season where he claimed to have drank six beers during the show and more before it had started. That came before he chugged more Guinness in front of a live audience. Since beers were hardly enough, he revealed to have taken about 100mg of edibles on his flight to Ireland.
Pilots tell us make sure there is none of that on the plane because when he land it is going to get checked. AJ, you and I both had probably 100mgs on the plane. It is similar to my trip to London from Indianapolis when I had 13 edibles. Last night was a very similar situation. AJ and I were on about 100mg each.Pat McAfee via The Pat McAfee Show
All in all, it was indeed a one-of-a-kind episode. Simultaneously, WWE star Sheamus poured him another drink while the crowd chanted at them to turn the volume up. The live show not only lived up to the expectation but may have surpassed it with the Irish crowd.
The show was five hours behind McAfee’s clock on the United States screens due to the time difference. It is instances of unpredictability that make McAfee a valuable star at ESPN. Pat McAfee will be on the ESPN screens on Saturday for the College GameDay. Nevertheless, the incident has gone quite viral.
