The June 20th, 2024, edition of the Pat McAfee Show brought on U.S. Navy SEAL and New York Times bestselling author Jack Carr as a special guest. However, after the return of Uncle Howdy and the debut of the Wyatt Sicks last week, no place seems to be safe.
During the show, the panelists and some of the support staff turned their attention to something obscure offstage. Pat McAfee wondered aloud what was going on, and Carr even requested some security at the scene. As soon as the sports analyst turned to check out what was going on, the studio lights went out.
The sound of the lights shutting down was the same sound fans heard this past week on Raw during The Wyatt Sicks debut. Seconds later, the broadcast ended abruptly. McAfee has also been silent on social media since the incident. Furthermore, there has been no public statement about the abrupt end of the show’s team.
It is unclear whether Uncle Howdy and his faction have chosen Pat McAfee as a specific target or if this is their way of continuing to cause chaos in WWE. Fans praised Pat McAfee, who has gone above and beyond for his stint in wrestling.
His show is often used to build up storylines in WWE. Most notably, Drew McIntyre appeared on the show last month to talk about his new contract with the company and further his feud with CM Punk. Furthermore, many top superstars, such as Roman Reigns, John Cena, and Triple H, have all appeared on the show.
WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray expresses concern over The Wyatt Sicks faction
The Wyatt Sicks on the latest episode of Raw has been a huge success for WWE. Both fans and wrestlers have commended the segment, and everybody seems to be talking about it. However, Hall of Famer Bully Ray has his concerns regarding the faction.
Speaking on the Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray had done a great job of creating intrigue. Fans would definitely want to tune in to SmackDown and next week’s Raw. While he had no doubts about the company’s storytelling, he was worried about what would happen once the bell rang.
The former TNA Champion claimed that it was nearly impossible to get heat on a character like The Fiend because of their supernatural characteristics. They are supposed to be impervious to pain. Further, he wondered if there were going to be any notable differences in strength among the members of the faction. Lastly, he claimed that WWE had also taken away the money-making aspect of facials by putting masks over each of them.
