When Andrade debuted on the main roster after a successful run in NXT, everyone expected some good things from him. He even won the United States Championship in 2019. However, after a very quiet year, the Mexican wrestler left the Stamford-based company and joined AEW.

The story has been similar for Andrade after his return at the 2024 Royal Rumble this year. There was hype around him during the WrestleMania season, as him and Rey Mysterio teamed up to defeat Dominik Mysterio and Santos Escobar at the Showcase of Immortals. He also had an excellent series of matches against Carmelo Hayes and was active in the United States title picture.

For the past month, Andrade has been absent from live television. During this time, he posted a photo on social media wearing a sharp suit and cap. His caption, ‘Anything is possible!!’, sparked optimism among fans who believe he has championship potential. However, he hasn’t reached his peak yet due to limited opportunities and storylines.

His last televised match was against Jacob Fatu on the February 28th episode of SmackDown, which he unfortunately lost. After a month-long absence, the 35-year-old appeared at WWE Live Shows in London, facing Carmelo Hayes on March 22nd and 23rd. Andrade won both matches, and fans are eagerly waiting for him to get a big opportunity.

Fans left supporting comments under Andrade’s post after being underutilized by WWE

Andrade’s recent social media post was flooded with fans’ comments saying he deserved better. While some blamed him for leaving AEW in the first place, others saw potential in his WWE run and hoped Triple H would book him well.

One fan even suggested that the former United States Champion should confront Hunter to reclaim his spot on SmackDown. Another fan, referencing his real-life issues with Charlotte Flair, proposed that he should interfere in her title match at WrestleMania. Here are some of the top fan reactions:

One user suggested that WWE introduce new titles to give superstars like Andrade a chance to shine. Another criticized him, urging him to change his gimmick. Overall, fans wished him the best and hoped he would get the much-needed screen time in WWE.

Andrade might get involved in a storyline with Legado Del Fantasma

Things are not going well within Legado Del Fantasma. Leader Santos Escobar has expected ruthlessness from his partners, Angel and Berto, but feels they can’t handle the pressure. After the latest episode of SmackDown, the former LWO member lashed out at Angel and Berto, declaring they were nothing without him and had no voice of their own.

However, Andrade interrupted them, standing up for Angel and Berto and questioning why they blindly followed Escobar. In response, the Legado Del Fantasma leader told him to stay out of it. The former United States Champion advised him to keep the group united if he wanted to win. But his efforts were in vain, as Angel and Berto once again followed Escobar without resistance.

This could be a promising storyline for Andrade, where he attempts to take over as leader and form a babyface faction with Angel and Berto. As of now, he is unlikely to compete at WrestleMania. However, if the storyline succeeds, the WWE Universe could rally behind him.
