WATCH: Unseen footage of a John Cena kid screaming “I Love You” at the WWE legend before getting dumped by him on Raw
The long-regarded Babe Ruth of WWE, John Cena, shattered millions of hearts on Raw by announcing that he's breaking up with everyone.

Someone who holds the Guinness World Record for granting over 650 wishes for medically inept children via the Make-A-Wish Foundation brushed off a kid’s love for him on this week’s Raw. Who could that be other than John Cena? It’s still surreal to fathom, but one just can’t deny what transpired on national TV a few days ago.
WWE uploaded footage of the aforementioned kid on its TikTok channel. As seen below, he’s yelling, “I love you,” at the wrestling great. It came amidst Cena’s ongoing rant about the fans in the middle of that ring. The 47-year-old actor deemed that he’s been a victim of a toxic, dysfunctional relationship for the last twenty-five years, which included that young lad who was cheering for John until the latter singled him out.
The kid was shown during the live broadcast, and he was shell-shocked. Cena had the entire arena in Brussels against him, which was pretty much a tailor-made situation for Cody Rhodes to interrupt The Franchise Player. The crowd was firmly behind the Undisputed WWE Champion, who snapped the moment he addressed him as a kid. Rhodes tried justifying the fan support for John that meant nothing to the latter.

The American Nightmare has previously admitted that he used to drive Cena to WWE shows in order to pick his brain. But now the erstwhile AEW EVP has the unfortunate privilege to fight his once-prohibitive hero in the main event of WrestleMania 41. WWE CCO Triple H recently rolled out an official graphic for their big-time clash.

Did John Cena go overtime with his segment on Raw?
One of the matches of the night on Raw was Jey Uso taking on Austin Theory. It had concluded within the blink of an eye, lasting merely half a minute. Uso made light work of Theory after hitting a spear, which Michael Cole referred to as the cross body on commentary.

But was the match always scheduled to be this short? It wasn’t. Per WrestleVotes, the singles match had an original runtime of about 11 minutes. However, with John Cena’s opening segment clocking nearly 27 minutes, Uso vs. Theory ended up being a squash.
Several fans were disappointed at the reasoning as they wondered why WWE ran out of time on Netflix when it was claimed that there wouldn’t be any limitations to the runtime on the streaming platform. In other news, WWE was said to be ecstatic by the negative crowd reception to The Cenation Leader on Raw.
#WWE was "ecstatic" by the reception that Cena received in Brussels. A WWE source also noted that Raw was the "hottest TV environment they've experienced."#WWERaw #Raw #RawOnNetflix

Fightful‘s reporting entailed that a talent even claimed that Brussels was arguably the hottest environment for a TV taping ever. If that was something, the OVO Hydro in Glasgow needs to catch up this coming Monday. As advertised, Cena and Rhodes will once again be under the same roof.
Goldberg talks about never facing John Cena in his career
There are a number of first-time matchups for John Cena that could never see the light of day. An example of which is WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg. The former WCW Champion recently joined Ariel Helwani for a lengthy chat.

During the conversation, Bill touched on an opponent he never got the chance to wrestle in his heyday. The 58-year-old Tulsa native claimed that it would’ve been cool to have his hand around Cena’s throat. In today’s scheme of things, Da Man isn’t revered by the wrestling fraternity anymore.
Goldberg seems to be well-aware of it. His potential clash with John is certainly a possibility, as Bill is entitled to a retirement match in WWE. However, the odds of Cena vs. Goldberg happening aren’t realistic enough to consider it a done deal.
