Taylor Swift is back on tour while boyfriend Travis Kelce remains with the Kansas City Chiefs to follow through with the NFL schedule. That would mean the couple would miss out on each other’s performances in their respective arenas for a while.

However, Travis’ absence in the stands was filled in by his father Ed Kelce, who attended the pop singer’s final performance in Toronto at the Rogers Centre. Fans were quick to spot Ed in the stands who donned a grey ensemble, a button-up, and jacket.

Ed accessorized with beaded bracelets, popularly known as the friendship bracelets among the Swifties. He was spotted indulging himself in the tradition of exchanging friendship bracelets with the fans as he chatted away while Swift was set to perform.

While he did not seem exuberant with the task, he was deeply focused. Ed was joined by Taylor Swift’s mother Andrea Swift. Another clip surfaced where Ed and Andrea were jamming to the singer performing ‘Cruel Summer.’

While Ed knew all the lyrics, Andrea danced the song away. Both families have grown close ever since Travis and Taylor started dating. Several times, Taylor and her family were seen hanging out with Ed and Donna Kelce at the Arrowhead Stadium for Kansas City Chiefs’ games.

This particular show marked a historic feat for the ‘You’re on your own, kid‘ singer. Taylor became the first artist to perform six sold-out shows at the venue.

According to her Eras Tour schedule, she is left with just three nights in Vancouver before concluding the iconic tour. Post that, Twylor is likely to join Travis for the rest of the NFL season, unless she surprises her fans with a new project.

Ed Kelce recalls first meeting with Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift has the Kelce family’s approval and it is no secret to fans. Travis Kelce’s parents have often gushed about the global pop star in public. Ed Kelce recalled his first meeting with Swift and said that it was all things nice and ‘genuine’.

One of Ed’s first impressions came at the Arrowhead Stadium. As Swift got up to fix herself a drink, Ed shared his surprise after watching her pick up scattered garbage to dispose of. He mentioned in the interview with PEOPLE how Swift had lost the ‘spoiled musician’ memo.
