It seems with every passing day, the legacy of Antonio Brown, who was once a standout and underrated wide receiver, is now being replaced by his off-field shenanigans.
He did not leave the game well. His waves to fans and shirtless goodbyes when his teammates were on the field might never leave the memory of any football fan.
Since then, his name has been embroiled in some form of controversy. Be it his failure to pay for child support, arrests for causing disturbances, failing to pay debtors, or eventual bankruptcy, he has always trended on the wrong side of the news pages.
Even his appearance and support for President Donald Trump at his campaign rallies did not do much for his reputation. Now, that reputation is on the verge of being blown to bits.
37-year-old AB was extradited this week, with United Arab Emirates authorities shipping the retired wideout back to the States from Dubai, where he was allegedly attempting to evade the reach of the American legal system.

Antonio Brown reiterates his innocence after arrest
Antonio Brown will soon be on the way to Florida, where a warrant is out for him. He is facing one count of attempted second-degree murder with a deadly weapon in an incident that occurred at streamer Adin Ross’ celebrity boxing match back in May.
Video clips of Brown getting into a scuffle with fans are available on social media. Some gunshots were also heard in those videos. As per TMZ, an alleged victim, Zul-Qarnain Kwame Nantambu, claimed the former Pittsburgh Steelers star tried to shoot him.
Since then, an arrest warrant was out on Brown’s head, and law enforcement had been looking for him. The 7-time Pro Bowler then threw a wrench into their plans when he fled to Dubai.
He posted pictures and videos of himself on a bicycle, roaming around as if nothing had happened. However, the UAE government did not want to be a part of this mess and extradited him. Now, he claims he is innocent.

It is up to his legal team and the police to determine whether he is innocent or not. However, that would take time, and Brown will not be allowed to travel anywhere.
Chad Johnson heartbroken after Antonio Brown’s arrest
It is not a good sight when athletes see one of their own facing the long arm of the law for anything. Since Antonio Brown has not been proven guilty, fellow former wideout Chad Johnson had a heartwarming reaction to news of his arrest.

He reacted to the original TMZ tweet with a broken heart emoticon, suggesting he was not happy to see his fellow wide receiver being dragged from thousands of miles away by federal agents.

Ochocinco, as Johnson is generally known, could be trolling Brown. The former Bengals wideout has a penchant for spinning humor. However, in this situation, it might be more about him feeling bad for another football star.
