The last grand slam of the year, US Open is at our doorsteps and the hype on its buildup is justified. On the men’s side, for the first time in tennis history, the three most decorated players, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic will go into a grand slam tied in the number of grand slams won and will gun for the overall lead. Focus will also be on Djokovic, as he has a chance to create history by completing the golden slam.
And on the women’s side, spotlight will once again be on home champion, Serena Williams, as she steps into the Flushing Meadows in pursuit of her record 24th slam.
US Open 2021 Qualifiers and Draw Ceremony
The qualifiers for the 2021 US Open will be held from August 24-27. As many as 16 players both from Men’s and Women’s side will enter the main draw, which will be held from August 30.
The main draw ceremony for the men’s and women’s singles event will be held on Friday, August 27.

Top seeds at US Open 2021
There is no special seeding at the US Open. The seeds will be determined on the basis of the latest ATP and WTA Rankings. Novak Djokovic will be the top seed on the Men’s side while Ashleigh Barty will headline the women’s draw.
