VCC Grand Final Day 1 came to an end. All the talented teams from across the region. 3 Teams from India and the last surviving team from Pakistan played against each other to get closer to the APAC Last Chance Qualifiers.
VCC Grand Final Day 1
VCC is officially a part of the Valorant Champions Tour, Riot’s official 2021 tournament circuit. On day 1 the Best Valorant teams from all the sub-regions faced each other and the best teams advanced their way to the higher bracket of the series.
Game 1 (Team Exploit vs Enigma Gaming)
Map 1 (Icebox): Team Exploit yet again surprised the viewers and showed total dominance against Enigma Gaming. TE ended the 1st half with a 9-3 score and ended up on the map with a scoreline of 13-7.
Map 2 (Bind): Team Exploit showed what they are capable of yet again in this map. They won the map with a 13-5 scoreline.
Map 3 (Breeze): Team Exploit won the first 2 maps so this map was not played.
Game 2 (Velocity Gaming vs Global Esports)
Map 1(Split): This is the game everyone in the Valorant community was waiting for. In the first half, both teams went head-to-head and finished the half with a 6-6 score. After that, it was all VLT as they swept GE in the 2nd half and ended the map with a 13-6 scoreline.
Map 2(Haven): This map started exactly like the 1st map and both teams ended up with 6 rounds in their pocket. In the 2nd half, GE showed their true potential and wrapped up the end with a 13- 6 scoreline.
Map 3(Breeze): This was arguably the most intense map of the whole tournament. This game went through multiple overtimes and VLT got the best of GE and the Velocity took the win with an 18-16 scoreline.
Game 3 (Global Esports vs Enigma Gaming)
Map 1 (Bind): Global Esports went totally beast mode and dominate the map. GE won the map with a 13-5 scoreline.
Map 2(Icebox): Global Esports dominated the 2nd map yet again. GE showed no mercy and went in PUB mode and took the half with an 11-1 score and wrapped up the map and the game with a 13-3 score.
Map 3(N/A): Global Esports won the first 2 maps so this map was not played.
The games were live on the NODWIN gaming Youtube channel and the VODs are available on Youtube and Twitch as well.
