Valorant Jett New Bug not to get fixed: Valorant usually develops unintentional bugs soon after patch deploys and most of them are not serious enough to redeploy a patch. A recent bug involving Jett’s dash has the gaming community divided over a bug fix. Patch 3.08 was released on October 19th and players reported a Jett bug causing a longer weapon equipment time after dash. The article talks about RIOT’s decision that the recent Jett nerf is not game-breaking and can wait till the next patch.

While Jett is one of the strongest agents in Valorant following one of her high impact buffs, no nerfs other than a minor one have since followed throughout the patches, unlike many other agents like Viper and the community wanted RIOT to restore the game balance. This recent unintentional bug in Valorant has the community divided on whether it is a well-deserved nerf for Jett or not.

The pull-out time for the weapon after usage of Jett’s signature ability, Tailwind is increased, which is almost close to being a nerf as it hinders the overall performance for the agent. Players also noticed a slight change to Jett’s Updraft animation, causing her knives to pull out slower. The weapon pull-out time in Patch 3.07 was 1.18 seconds, and after the 3.08 patch was implemented it changed to 1.42 seconds. The cost of the Updraft ability is now more expensive as well, making players consider when they should purchase the ability.

However, Riot acknowledged the bugs today but isn’t planning a patch redeploy and explained that a fix might not come until Patch 3.09. Riot said the bugs aren’t game-breaking or impacting competitive integrity, so players will likely have to wait a while for them to be fixed. Moreover, recently, Valorant pro Tyson‘ TenZ’ Ngo suggested that they should actually make the change permanent. Let’s see what’s to come for Jett.
