Valorant Data miners suggest new map name to be ‘Breeze’ instead of ‘Foxtrot’, the code name for the same map.

The arrival of a new map in the next act or episode had been the topic of concern among Valorant gaming community for quite sometime now. With the onset of a new episode and the latest patch 2.06 rolling out in Valorant, many new elements has been included to this tactical shooter game. Besides relaunch of Night market and even a new skin bundle, RIOT has hinted at the launch of a new map in the coming future.

While new agents are introduced in every act, brand new maps are ornamented at the inception of new episodes, as promised by RIOT even when the beta game was under supervision. As noticed earlier, Valorant tries to come up with versatile map elements and furnish its gamers with a new backdrop every time. Although the initial speculation of Data Miners was around a map named ‘ Foxtrot’, some recent leaks and research suggests the actual map name to be ‘ Breeze’ instead.

While earlier rumors suggested ‘Foxtrot’ to be the new map name and images of giant ship were hurled around, suggesting new location to be on a ship, recent revelations suggests that while Foxtrot could just be the codename of actual map name ‘Breeze’ and might be located in the Caribbean. There are also good enough reasons to suspect that the new map is going to be called Breeze, given the Valorant naming standards and Foxtrot seems to be a placeholder for the sixth map.

Valorant Leaks from Twitter confirmed the speculation after Cynprel in Twitter revealed that the coordinates featured on the Night Market official promo image point to the Bermuda Triangle, seemingly confirming this as the location for Valorant’s sixth map:

Adding to Valorant’s five existing maps: Haven, Bind, Ascent, Split and Icebox, each boasting a unique element like three bomb site or teleporters, the widely shown ship might be the new show component of the new map. After the sweeping dissatisfaction with Icebox and the long yearning of new maps from the gaming community, this new map will definitely bring forth the much needed rotation in map allotment at a large.

As reported earlier, Valorant data miners had also already managed to leak the loading music of the upcoming Valorant map. The intro song for the map was close to sounding tropical and many from the fan community have speculated it to be based on the Caribbean after there has been confirmation of this with the night market sheath scribbled having Carib scribbled on it.

With the release of the most recent Caribbean-themed Night Market, it’s also being speculated that not only the new map but also Valorant’s 16th Agent hails from the same region. While no particular release date of the upcoming map ‘Breeze’ has been confirmed by Riot, the fan community are expecting it to launch at the start of Episode 2 Act 3.
