TEC Gauntlet will be the largest and most extensive Valorant Tournament in South Asia Region. New and experienced teams will Battle each other in this Tournament for the duration of 8 months to have a share of the huge Prize Pool.
TEC Gauntlet Format
The whole TEC Gauntlet Valorant Tournament will divided in 4 seasons. Each season will be then divided in 4 stages.
Open Qualifier
Every team has to go through the Open Qualifiers to get to the further stages of the tournament. You have to register on the official TEC website to get a chance to be in a total of 256 teams. Only the best 16 teams will be selected from the Open qualifiers. But the Top 4 teams will automatically book a slot in the next season’s Open qualifier.
Regular Season
The 16 teams from the open qualifiers will be randomly assigned to two different groups. 8 teams of each group will face each other in a best-of-three, round robin format. From the 8 teams only 4 teams will qualify to the next stage while the bottom two teams will be knocked out. Although the 5th and 6th teams will not qualify for the next stage but they will book their slot in the next season.
All Star
To release the nail biting pressure and heat of high level competitive games The TEC Gauntlet All-Star will take part. This star-studded is to entertain both the players and the audience. Further information about this event is not announced yet but that’s what makes it even more exciting.
Playoffs
From the open qualifiers, through the Regular season the best of the best 8 teams will face off in a double elimination bracket. All of the matches leading up to the semifinals will be Best of three, and the finals will be best of five.
TEC Gauntlet Dates
This 8 months long Tournament’s time frames are announced by the officials.
TEC Gauntlet Season I will start in the month of June 2021 and will continue throughout the month of July 2021
TEC Gauntlet Season II will start in the month of August 2021 and will continue throughout the month of September 2021
TEC Gauntlet Season III will start in the month of October 2021 and will continue throughout the month of November 2021
TEC Gauntlet Season IV will start in the month of December 2021 and will continue throughout the month of January 2022
Valorant TEC Gauntlet Prize Pool
This 8 months and 4 season-long Tournament offers a huge Prize Pool of Rs. 52,000,00 which is approximately $ 70,000. The prize division will be the same for every season. Each season will have a Massive Rs. 13,000,00 prize pool
Open Qualifier:The winner of Each Open Qualifier will receive Rs. 20,000 and the runner up will receive Rs, 5,000
Regular Season: The top 4 teams of each group in the Regular Season will receive Rs. 25,000 and the 5th and 6th teams of each group will receive Rs. 12,500.
Playoffs: This stage will rightfully get the most amount of the share of the whole Prize Pool.
