The moment which all eSports fans were waiting for finally here, the Valorant Masters Reykjavík, Iceland. After almost a year finally, a LAN event is going to happen in REYKJAVÍK, ICELAND. After a series of multiple qualifiers and finals, the best 10 teams from around the world will be selected and these teams Qualified for VCT are facing each other in the Master hosted at Laugardalshöll venue.
VCT Masters Reykjavík Day 4
On 27 May 2021, There were be 3 games on day 4 and all the games will be in the format of Best of 3 maps. The first team to win 2 maps will take the win.
Game 1 (Nuturn vs Version1)
Finally, the moment everyone was waiting for NA vs KR. The best team of Korea Team Nuturn faced Version1 of NA in the 1st game of the VCT Masters Reykjavík Day 4.
Map 1 (Haven): In the first map of the day Version1 dominated the whole map. Nuturn was never even close to win the map. Version1 won with 13-3 on the top of the screen.
Map 2 (Ascent): This is where the Korean Powerhouse showed how powerful they are. In a back and forth of rounds, the map went to Overtime and after 2 more rounds both teams found themselves in the 2nd Overtime and Nuturn managed to steal the win under the noses of Version1. Nuturn won the map of 15-13 score.
Map 3(Spilt): We can undoubtedly say this was the most intense map of VCT Masters 2 as of now. Nuturn managed to grab the first 4 rounds pretty comfortably but Version1 came even stronger and ended the half with a 6- 6 score. The 2nd half got everyone out of their chairs. Another 6 – 6 half and the game went to the Overtime. Although Version1 managed to go in Nuturn’s base without them knowing but Nuturn managed to take the round back home. Nuturn won the 16th round and took it all in their pocket. Nuturn won the map of 14-12 score.
Winner
With 2-1on the scoreboard Nuturn took the win of VCT Masters 2 Day 4 Reykjavík.
Game 2 (Fnatic vs X10 Esports)
The most hyped players in the tournament meet each other for the first time. Boaster and Patiphan were in a different game of hype in their entrance.
Map 1 (Icebox): This game was all Fnatic and no X10 Esports. Fnatic ended the map in a dominant way. Fnatic won the map with 13 – 3 on the scoreboard.
Map 2 (Haven): Although even after a bad start X10 showed some resistance in the 2nd half but Fnatic ended up getting the best of X10 Esports. Fnatic won with a 13-9 scoreline.
Map 3 (Ascent): Fnatic won the first 2 maps so map 3 was not played.
Winner
With 2-0 on the scoreboard Fnatic took the win of VCT Masters 2 Day 4 Reykjavík.
Game 3 (Kru vs Team Liquid)
After losing 1 match in Day 1 and coming back with a win Team Kru from LATAM faced best of EMEA Team Liquid.
Map 1 (Split): Team Liquid never gave any chance to Kru. Team Liquid won the match very comfortably. Team Liquid won the map with 13 – 2 on the scoreboard.
Map 2 (Ascent): Kru was looking really promising in the first half and they carried their momentum in the 2nd half as well. But it seems like Liquid gave them hope just to crush it. Team Liquid came back stronger. Team Liquid won the map with a 13 – 9 scoreline.
Map 3 (Bind): Team Liquid won the first 2 maps so map 3 was not played.
Winner
Team Liquid took the win 2 – 0 on the scoreboard
Updated Bracket
- Nuturn sent Version1 in the lower brackets.
- Fnatic eliminated X10 Esports.
- Team Liquid eliminated Kru.
